Stucco sealing & repaint in Wilmington — an elastomeric envelope built for salt air and sideways rain.
Sealant joints, crack bridging and elastomeric recoats engineered for coastal UV, salt spray and wind-driven rain.
From $1800 · Manufacturer-warrantied coating systems, installed to spec.
The problem
Coastal sun chalks stucco finishes and sealant joints reach end-of-life at 7 to 10 years — right about when most Wilmington-area stucco homes hit their second or third owner.
Every failed joint at a window, band board or penetration is an open faucet in a nor'easter. Owners repaint with standard exterior latex, it peels off the chalky finish in two summers, and the hairline cracks underneath keep drinking.
We cut out and replace failed sealant with high-movement polyurethane joints, bridge hairline cracking, and roll a true elastomeric coating that flexes with the wall — turning an aging barrier wall back into a sealed one for a fraction of remediation cost.

Frequently asked questions
How long does an elastomeric coating last on the coast?
Properly primed and applied at spec thickness, 10+ years even with salt exposure — the coating systems we install carry manufacturer warranties. The sealant joints are the real maintenance item; plan on inspecting them around year seven.
Can I just paint my EIFS with regular house paint?
Please don't. Standard latex won't bond well to a chalked acrylic finish and can change the wall's vapor behavior. Elastomeric systems made for synthetic stucco cost more per gallon and are worth every cent here.
